Proud Palantirian

I joined the Palantir board of directors shortly after going public through an unconventional direct listing approach. I love that there is an eccentric culture that is hyper-focused on solving the world’s toughest problems. From a business perspective, the board makes strategic and unorthodox decisions. In this last year, we purchased gold bars and invested in SPACs and start-ups. While we grow the business (here we come moon!) there will be countless new challenges and contrarian ideas.

One Company, Many Career Journeys

I joined Accenture Management Consulting straight out of Stanford because I had bills to pay and liked the idea of traveling and learning on the job. My plan was to stay for two or three years and then go to business school. Instead, I left almost 16 years later to join the board of Palantir and strike out on my own as an independent coach and advisor. While at Accenture, I had the incredible opportunity to learn and do many things, including technology and digital transformation consulting, "high-brow" strategy consulting, in-the-weeds operational management of internal operations, sales, and P&L management. I managed global teams of >5,000, built sales pipelines and closed deals that were several hundred million dollars in value, and managed client relationships at the operational management level all the way up to the C-suite and the board. My favorite and most rewarding part of all of my experiences was when I managed a global team - although not the most exciting of the work, (the strategy stuff was super cool!) I loved having direct responsibility to develop culture, build teams, and inspire/produce exceptional outcomes.
