Hi! I'm Lara. I've been in product over a decade and am passionate about coaching and mentoring. I have spent my career launching 0-1 products and APIs in security, identity, authentication and privacy for startups and financial institutions. My secret weapons are stakeholder management and product strategy. Proven track record of inventing things and launching truly disruptive products with over $80M revenue in first year.

Experience

Joined as the first Security PM at Stripe

In 2021, I joined Stripe to help build out their product management discipline in Security. My main goal is to build user trust. I currently lead product for Privacy, Security Assurance and Internal Platforms.

Learned the foundations in Silicon Alley

For ten years, I lived and worked in New York City. After getting a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in New Orleans, I was lucky to land a contract software engineering role at Squarespace. From there, I learned product management by working at several start-ups.

Invented and launched a crypto-token for a Fortune 100 bank

For five years, I worked as a PM in Identity and Authentication at Capital One. My work includes re-imagining and architecting risk assessment engines for everything from logging in to money movement for all lines of business. On the side, I invented a crypto-token that then launched to 60M users in 3 countries. It took me a few years working side-of-desk but hey! :)

Case Study: Cities of Service Global Platform

Cities of Service is a network around the work of folks making real change. Our challenge was to come up with a product that inspired others, showed their impact and felt human. We also created a whole new brand identity that categorized their work. We did everything in six weeks, including a new brand identity. Yes - it's still working seven years later.

Case Study: Mobile App DOP

NYC Department of Probation App is a goal tracking program for people on probation. I pitched it, got funding, did original research and led the product strategy from concept to launch. Re-arrests for men with medium-to-high-offense ages 16-24 decreased by 7.5% in the NeON program.

I have more than fifteen patents published around the world. I love innovating and am happy to share what I know about the process. They mostly focus on data management, cryptography and identity solutions.
