First & foremost I am immensely passionate about computer science, data research & specialize in natural language processing, recommendation engines, fraud detection, and graph-aided search. After pursuing Computer Engineering academically & working in various capacities in the domain, I pursued my Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Science and Technology. With my interest in graph databases peaking, I founded a company called Reco4 which was an open source project developing a recommendation framework based on graph data sources. Now, I’m Chief Scientist at GraphAware where we are all driven by the shared goal of being the first name in graph technologies. With clients such as LinkedIn,World Economic Forum, European Space Agency and Bank of America, we are singularly focused on helping clients gain a competitive edge by transforming their data into searchable, understandable & actionable knowledge. I spend my time leading the development of Hume – our Knowledge Graph platform & speaking at various conferences around the world. Toni Morrison said "If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it", so I did! In order to spread the knowledge I gained over all these years, I started writing my book Graph-Powered Machine Learning (Manning, 2020). It provides the reader with an introduction to graph technology concepts, highlighting the role of graphs in machine learning & big data platforms.
