About

Over the last ten years, Alan has worked for multiple teams around the country finding his passion on the revenue generating side of the sports Industry. Getting started in the business of sports can be one of the most challenging parts and it only gets more competitive from there. It is crucial to have a mentor who has lived through that experience as an applicant, a hiring manager, and a senior level consultant. Sports brands also hold serious public notoriety and it can be very beneficial to align your company or brand with a team in Metropolitan areas. Opening the door to have those conversations, knowing who to contact, and how to approach the conversation can be an obstacle unless you have someone familiar with how the organization works which Alan can coach you on to be efficient in your pursuit. Personally, Alan grew up in Northern Virginia then went on to attend East Carolina University where Business and Sports started culminating in the Athletic Office. Right out of college, Alan worked for the Florida Collegiate Summer League in Orlando then joined the Toronto Blue Jays as a young professional with nothing to lose. That experience propelled him as he worked his way through ranks with the Pittsburgh Pirates and now currently oversees the Premium Sales and Service efforts for the New York Mets. Alan lives in Brooklyn, NY with his partner Rachel and spends his free time on the golf course, traveling, and volunteering with local organizations such as Big Brothers of NYC.
